WHAT IS ‘SAUTI ZETU’ a.k.a: ‘our voices’

SAUTI ZETU is a swahili term directly translating to ‘our voices’.

 

For centuries, the African story has been told by foreigners.

 

It is now time for Africans to tell their own stories, with authenticity.  

​

We are young storyteller and creative writers, living in Africa and in diaspora, with diverse education and social backgrounds, are 100% participatory in the building of Sauti Zetu. 

​

Sauti Zetu will be the change that will leave a footprint in the lives of millions of lives across the world.

​

Our purpose is to play our part in making change that we want to see in our countries through creative writing.
